Daphne Solberg graduated from Vanderbilt University with a major in Economics and a minor in Spanish. She began using traditional genealogy to study her family history over 17 years ago. She has worked on 15 cases using genetic genealogy as a lead-generating tool. Those include unidentified human remains, homicide victims, and a wrongful conviction. She is also a volunteer for the DNA Doe Project. Her college minor in Spanish has proven to be a valuable asset for researching cases with Hispanic origins.

She lives in Nashville, TN with her family.
